Swedish language classes must be attended by all Au Pairs in Sweden. It should be convenient for their working schedules.

A host family can assist the au pair in finding private schools and other institutions, including SFI Swedish for immigrants schools (Svenska för Invandrare) you can get free Swedish lessons if you have a residence permit and a personal identity number or coordination number.

There are many language schools that provide a Swedish course but we would like to recommend Folkuniversitetet. You can apply by yourself online or ask your host family to apply it for you.
